Hey, I’m Daphne!

I graduated from UC Davis in 2025, double majoring in Design and Cognitive Science. I grew up in Milpitas, CA (which is right above San Jose, and where I am currently located!)

From a very young age, I have always had a knack for all types of art. Drawing, videography, sticker making ... you name it, I’ve probably done it. I even briefly had a small art business (featured on my “play” page!) I’m also incredibly curious about people. I often find myself observing others’ actions and dissecting conversations to piece together a fuller picture of who someone is. Finding out about design felt like a “too good to be true” intersection of these two things that I have always been passionate about.

Over the years, design has evolved into a way for me to give back to communities that matter to me. Whether it be presenting our project to amplify residents’ voices to the City of Davis, redesigning our dragon boat team’s website to better suit our needs, or creating an app to help college girls find their people.

Through all the projects I’ve been a part of, I have fallen in love with the process of empathizing with people and using what I’ve learned to fuel beautifully thoughtful products.
